Trenton, Tenn.—The Gibson Co. Sheriff’s Office has issued a warning to the public that there is a subject impersonating a Gibson Co. Sheriff’s deputy and calling people in Gibson Co.
The person is NOT a member of the sheriff’s office. If a deputy calls you, ask for their rank and name and tell them you need to verify who they say they are before you give them any personal information. The deputies will understand the request.
