Henry County Trustee Randi French Awarded Trustee Of Year

 
 
Chattanooga, Tenn.—At this year’s Tennessee Trustee’s Conference held in Chattanooga recently, Henry County Trustee Randi French was awarded the prestigious Trustee of the Year designation for the Western District.
 
“This is truly an honor to have been chosen by my fellow Trustees as West Tennessee Trustee of the year.  I love serving and will always work hard for the people of Henry County’” French said.
 
Bill Hullander, President of the Tennessee Trustee’s Association, said he is proud of “the great job that Randi is doing in Henry County.”
 
French has attended several classes such as Internal Controls & How to Conduct a Risk Assessment, ACH Fraud and Security Trends and Tax Relief. “The classes are instrumental in equipping the trustees with vital information to implement in their office in their home county,” Hullander said.
 
After being elected Trustee in 2014, French has served as Vice President of West Tennessee Trustee Association for two terms, 2015-2016 and 2016-2017. She currently serves as President of the West Tennessee Trustee Association for 2017-2018.  She is also a member of Tennessee Association of Property Tax Property Tax Professional’s, Tennessee County Trustee Association, County Officials Association of Tennessee and National Association of County Collections Treasures and Finance Officers.
 
She has completed several leadership programs since taking office in 2014 such as Leadership Henry County, WestStar, and the Local Government Leadership Program.  She also achieved the Certified Public Administrator accreditation during her tenure as Trustee.
 
French is also involved in several programs and civic clubs in the community. She currently sits on the Advisory Board for the Tennessee College of Applied Technology. She also serves on the Board of Directors at the Pairs Rotary Club, Henry County Carl Perkins Center, Real Hope Youth Center, WestStar and the Family Resource Center.
