Paris, Tenn.–A capacity crowd was on hand today at the Paris-Henry County Chamber of Commerce’s monthly “Grub Club”, where Sheriff Monte Belew and several members of his staff led an active shooter training.
“The Chamber started hosting these in March with a workshop on Social Media,” according to Chamber Executive Director Travis McLeese. “Our goal was to provide informative lunch sessions that would benefit our Chamber members. Sheriff Belew and his staff did an incredible job with this interactive presentation on a difficult topic.”
Participants were informed of measures they can take to prepare for whatever situation may occur. Belew encouraged everyone to know their surroundings and have a plan place.
The July 26th Grub Club will be led by Richard Wilson with the State Comptroller’s Office. To RSVP email pariscoc@paristnchamber.com.
