Union city, Tenn.—Passengers in two vehicles involved in a collision Saturday evening in Union City were transported to Baptist Memorial Hospital and the driver of one of the vehicles was cited.
Cited for following too close was James Cox, age 28, of Union City.
His passenger, Natalee Wicker, age 19, of Union City, was transported by EMS with a suspected minor injury. The passenger of the other car, Amber Crisp, age 19, also of Union City, was also transported with possible injury.
According to the Union City Police, the other driver, Kathyleen Jones, age 50, of Hickman, Ky., was stopped at the intersection of S. Miles Ave. and High School Driver waiting for traffic to clear to make a left turn. Cox did not see the vehicle had stopped and ran into the rear. Severe damage was reported to the vehicles.
