Paris, Tenn.—Two Henry County men are in the Henry County Jail after their arrests Friday on kidnapping charges.
Robert Cannon, age 37, of 95 Mansfield Rd., Mansfield; and Rocky Foster, age 38, 1703 Hagler Rd., Springville, were arrested by Paris Police at the SwissVilla Apartments, where the incident reportedly occurred.
Cannon is being held on $10,000 bond and Foster is being held on $20,000 bond.
According to the police report, officers were called to Swiss Villa where the victim told them he had been dropped off at an apartment there June 11 and that the two men had confined him and assaulted him repeatedly to steal his money.
The victim told officers in writing that Foster assaulted him multiple times with a leather belt, hitting him on the back, and that Cannon punched him and would not let him leave the room.
A witness who reportedly was also in the room told officers he saw the pair assault and keep him in the room.
