Dover, Tenn.—Several friends paid tribute to the late Shirley Knight as she made her last trip through Fort Donelson National Battlefield Park Saturday. A hearse from Anglin Funeral Home in Dover took Knight on her final trip through the park as several people stood at attention. Knight was the beloved reporter on the Bald Eagles and their families at the park. Knight loved the Bald Eagles and visited there every day—sometimes several times a day—keeping everyone abreast of their activities. (Gayle Allen photo).
