Paris, Tenn.-Yes, it is hot. Dangerously so. The temperature reached 101 degrees in Paris this afternoon and that isn’t even factoring in the heat index. A heat advisory is in effect for our area through Monday and afternoon values will top out from 100 to 105. Little relief is expected at night. And REMEMBER: The combination of hot temperatures and high humidity will lead to an increased risk of heat related stress and illness. The very young, the elderly, those without air conditioning, and those participating in strenuous outdoor activities will be the most susceptible.
