Reminder: Henry Co. Farmers Market Grand Opening Is Friday

Paris, Tenn.—The Henry County Farmers’ Market will be opening Friday, June 15 and will be open three days a week this season. The Farmers’ Market also will be returning to the Henry County Fairgrounds.
The grand opening will be held at 3 p.m. with a ribbon-cutting and Farmers’ Market Chairman Chad Kennedy said 12 vendors with a wide variety of produce, meat, honey, jams, jellies and other goods will be on hand. The Henry Co. Extension Service will have free samples available at the grand opening, too.
Kennedy said the 12 vendors will be providing a wide range of produce, including cabbage, tomatoes, potatoes, yellow and zucchini squash, all kinds of peppers, jams, jellies, local raw honey, and USDA certified beef. He said an artisan who makes cutting boards out of local reclaimed wood also will be on hand.
The market will be open from 3-6 p.m. on Tuesdays and Fridays, and 3-6 p.m. on Saturdays. It will be held at the pavilion at the fairgrounds.
