First Black Carp Harvested By Bow Fishing Weighs 29 Pounds

 
 
Barkley Dam, Ky.—The first Black Carp to be harvested by bow fishing has been turned into the Western Kentucky Fisheries and it’s a big one. Steve Tabor caught the Black Carp below Barkley Dam while bow fishing and it weighed 29 pounds and is 38 inches long. Black Carp is a species of Asian Carp. (Western Kentucky Fisheries photo).
