Paris Inventors Gary, Nancy Morris Honored At UTM

 
 
Paris, Tenn.—Paris Inventors Gary and Nancy Morris received the 2018 Future Star Award from the Tennessee Small Business Development Center and University of Tennessee at Martin’s Regional Entrepreneurship and Economic Development Center during a Salute to the Stars reception June 5.
 
The Future Star Award recognizes entrepreneurs who have made a positive impact in the region and are poised for future success.
 
Gary and Nancy Morris are the inventors of the FOOTBAR, a device created to help friend Peggy White, of Danville, Kentucky, stabilize her husband’s walker with her foot while moving him to a standing position. The FOOTBAR was patented through the United States Patent and Trademark Office in 2017.
