Paris, Tenn.– Henry County Medical Center is announcing that OB/GYN Katherine Whitfield of Paris has joined the medical staff and has started seeing patients at Paris Women’s Center located in the HCMC Medical Arts Building.
Dr. Whitfield joins the Paris Women’s Center from the Blanchfield Army Community Hospital in Fort Campbell, KY, as a Staff Physician in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She also served at both Landstuhl Regional Medical Center and Landstuhl, Germany and the Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, WA, where she completed her residency.
Dr. Whitfield earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, MO, and her Bachelor of Science in Natural Sciences from Xavier University in Cincinnati, OH. She is both a fellow of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
“I am excited to be a part of this charming community,” said Dr. Whitfield. “I look forward to providing quality healthcare through the Paris Women’s Center.”
Dr. Whitfield resides in Paris with her husband, attorney Rob Whitfield. She enjoys all types of art, especially painting. She also enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking, and travelling.
