Union City, Tenn.—Union City Police are investigating a robbery of an individual at gunpoint Friday evening.
Officers were dispatched to 512 N. First St. around 10 p.m. and the victim said he was walking in the alley between N. First and N. Second Streets when an unknown male approached him.
The suspect pointed a handgun at him and told him to ‘give up the money’ or he would pull the trigger. The victim gave him his wallet which contained $200 in cash, along with his Social Security card, license and debit card. The suspect also took his cell phone and took off running north in the alley.
