Paris, Tenn.—WestStar participants listen to Downtown Paris Association Executive Director Kathy Ray as they take a tour of the city of Paris’ Back Alley project. WestStar has been concentrating on all that Paris and Henry County has to offer this week. THey have been staying at the Paris Landing Inn, with sessions held at the Paris Civic Center and Paris Elementary, Henry County Medical Center, Bethel University Paris campus, downtown Paris, Sweet Jordan’s, Perrylodgic, the Tennessee National Wildlife Refuge and the Holly Fork Shooting Complex. WestStar is a project sponsored by the University of Tennessee at Martin since 1989 and it promotes leadership skills and ways to help local communities. (City of Paris photo).
