Union City, Tenn.—A Sharon teenager was transported to Baptist Memorial Hospital with possible injuries after his vehicle struck the Tractor Supply building in Union City on Sunday evening.
According to the Union City Police, Travor Carter, age 18, was eastbound on W. Reelfoot Ave. when his accelerator became stuck. Carter said he pulled into the Tractor Supply parking lot to try and stop the vehicle, but he wasn’t able to stop and the 2005 Ford F15 pickup ran into the building.
Carter was cited for lack of insurance. No information on the extent of his injuries was provided in the police report.
