Evansville Man Found With Meth, Marijuana, Pills During Traffic Stop

 
 
Benton, Ky.—An Evansville man was arrested on a variety of drug charges after he was found to be in possession of marijuana, meth, numerous pills and drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop in Marshall County, Ky.
 
Justin T. Dill, age 28, was charged with trafficking controlled substance first degree, trafficking marijuana first offense; trafficking controlled substance first offense; possession of drug paraphernalia; possession of controlled substance first degree (meth).
 
On Monday May 21,  Deputy Chris Greenfield observed a vehicle weaving on the roadway on Aurora Hwy. Deputy Greenfield then conducted a traffic stop on US 641 S.
 
Upon contact with Dill, he said he had recently had some repairs done to the vehicle causing it to pull to one side. When asked to step out of the vehicle, Deputy Greenfield observed a small hard case in his back pocket that ended up being a set of digital scales.
 
The subject then pulled a bag out of his pocket that contained six grams of marijuana. Deputy Greenfield conducted a search on the male subject and also located a methamphetamine pipe with residue inside it along with some rolling papers. A zip lock bag was then located that contained seven Hydrocodone, seven Carisoprodol, eight Amphetamine/Dextroamphetamine and six Clonazepam. In a separate bag were seven Oxycodone pills.
 
During the search of the vehicle Deputy Greenfield located 56 grams of marijuana in a mason jar, 137 grams of bagged methamphetamine, one marijuana cigarette, set of digital scales, pack of small zip-lock bags, rolling papers and $990 cash.
