Paris, Tenn.—The Henry County High School Lady Patriots are heading for the state tournament for the second year in a row after their 10-0 defeat of Summit High School Sunday afternoon.
The game was delayed a couple times due to storms and even on Sunday, the game was played earlier in the afternoon to avoid more storms that were forecast for later Sunday.
The Lady Patriots will meet Hardin Co. at 11:30 a.m. in Murphreesboro.
The Henry County Quarterback Club is encouraging all fans to stop by any Security Bank & Trust location and make a contribution to help the team with meals, lodging and travel expenses for the coming week. A goal is set of $2,500 before Tuesday’s departure time.
