Henry, Tenn.—Henry Elementary Student Harper Schmidt was having a blast—along with the rest of the school—Friday morning at the school’s Field Day. Principal David Kibbler said it was the first school-wide water day and it was a definite success. Kibbler thanked the Henry Fire Department for its help with the water slides at the back of the school. Everyone had picnic lunches outside, too. “I also want to thank the parents for allowing us the opportunity to spend this time with the kids. We ask a lot of these kids, and it nice to be able to take one day just to hang out and have fun with them. Henry parents are the best,” he said. (Shannon McFarlin photo).
