Union City, Tenn.—The Union City Fire Department came out on top in the group division at Saturday’s 5th Annual Cardboard Regatta at Discovery Park of America. Discovery Park has announced the winners of the event, which drew a huge crowd.
In the group division, winners were: first place, Union City Fire Department; second, Lowe’s; third, Mutiny on the Bounty. The Van Gogh Award went to Team Ferrell; the Titanic Award to Herman Jenkins Ford; and Team Spirit to Lowe’s.
School Division: first, Graves Co. High School (Team A); second, Westview High School; third, Dyer Co. High School. Team Spirit to Westview; Titanic Award to Graves Co High School Team B and the Van Gogh Award went to Dyer Co. High School.
