Paris, Tenn.–Retail sales for the city of Paris for February showed an increase of 3.03% compared to February of last year and an increase of 3.67% for calendar year to date, according to the report from City Finance Director Traci Shannon at Thursday night’s commission meeting.
The city issued nine business licenses in March, one of which was a renewal for a Minimal Activity License.
The remaining eight are listed as follows:
New Business: G&C Enterprises LLC, Jazzy Nails, Dunlap Construction, Wolff Auto Sales
New Owner: Knights Inn
Additional Location: Koehring & Sons Inc. (HVAC Contractor), Aloha Pools & Spas
Re-Located to Paris: West TN Electrical & Industrial Supply
General Fund expenditures exceeded revenues in the month of March. However, revenues are still ahead fiscal year-to-date, Shannon said.
