Paris, Tenn—The Young Eagles Rally that was set for tomorrow at the Paris-Henry Co. Airport has been postponed until next weekend due to weather concerns for Saturday.
One of the organizers, Bill Stoner, said, “So sorry, but we have to keep safety at the top of our agenda. This is the first flight for most of our kids and we want it to be positive.”
The event has been rescheduled for 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 12. It will offer free airplane rides for ages 8-17. The event is sponsored by Paris Chapter 734 of the Experimental Aircraft Association.
