Paris, Tenn.–Henry County High School will participate in a Mock Crash on Thursday, May 3rd, toward the end of the school day and Principal Michele Webb said for the public and parents to not be alarmed at the presence of law enforcement and emergency personnel at the school.
Webb said, “This event is held every other year at HCHS to help encourage students to drive responsibly. Emergency personnel will be participating in the Mock Crash, including ambulance services, law enforcement, the Air Evac helicopter, and others.”
“We wanted to let you know of the Mock Crash so you will not be alarmed if you hear of emergency personnel being present at HCHS tomorrow. We appreciate the coordination of the many agencies who help make this event possible for our students. I encourage you to use the Mock Crash as an opportunity to discuss safe driving habits with your children, including not driving under the influence, not riding with anyone who is, and avoiding phone use while driving.”
