Paris, Tenn.—Henry County’s newest basketball team is off to a great start, with a 7-1 record so far this spring. They beat two teams on Fish Fy weekend, defeating Stewart Co. 35-13 and the Medina Stings 25-17.
The Heat is a team of 4th and 5th grade boys made up of Martz Rack, Carson Curd, Kayden Kendall, Hayden Capps, Levi Peale, Peyton Littleton, Jataveion Ricks, Travis Jenkins, and Jaivyn Patton.
Coaches are Tracy Tharpe, Adam Jenkins, Melvin Rack and Dustin Patton. Sponsors are Ace’s Pizza, A&W Transmission, JC Educational, Abbott’s Print Shop and Wells Fargo Advisors.
