Paris, Tenn.–Brenda Hosford was named 2018-2019 Quotarian of the Year by the Paris Quota Club. She received a crown, necklace and a bouquet of red roses. Her two sisters, her son and her nephew made a surprise visit to be a part of her special day.
Martha Smith installed the 2018-2019 club officers. She expressed appreciation to Mary Alice Campbell, Stephanie Tayloe and Gina Olds, as they retire from serving on the board. The new club officers are: President: Beth Watkins; President-Elect: Pat Bailey; Vice-President: Kayla Nation; Recording Secretary: Martha McFadden; Corresponding Secretary: Susan Pemberton; Treasurer: Brenda Hosford; Assistant Treasurer: Beverly Wood; Parliamentarian: Mary Kathryn Moore and Directors: Donna Winders, Stanley Leslie, Geraldine Sykes, Denise Evans and DeLaina Green. Each new officer was presented a bookmark and a long stemmed pink rose.
Suzanne Richter announced that there are 18 high school applicants for the Quota Scholarship and 11 returning applicants. Recipients will be presented to the club at the May 23rd meeting.
