Nashville, Tenn.—The Tennessee Department of Transportation has issued a traffic alert for downtown Nashville this afternoon.
A truck carrying an oversize load has hit the 40E overpass and is wedged under the bridge. The ramp from 65N to 40W is closed. Hwy. 40E at the Exit 210 is closed due to bridge damage. Bridge inspectors are assessing the scene and TDOT will update as soon as possible.
