World Champ Cowgirl To Compete At Fish Fry Rodeo

Paris, Tenn.—The IPRA Rodeo at the World’s Biggest Fish Fry will feature the new World Championship Cowgirl and a new event—the Women’s Pro Contest.

Brianna Dunlap, age 22, of Hudson Falls, N.Y., is a six-time qualifier and she and her horse “Ringo” were recently rewarded for their efforts—she left the Oklahoma City contest this year with her first World Championship belt and “Ringo” was named Horse of the Year.

The Cowgirls Breakaway Roping Event has become a competitive event where only the best qualify for the International competition. The rodeo at the Fish Fry this year will be a qualifying event for cowgirls trying to make it to the coveted Top 15 in the world.

Dunbar said she intends to try for World Championship No. 2 at the event, which is held tonight, Friday and Saturday nights at 7:30 p.m. at the Henry Co. Fairgrounds.
