McKenzie, Tenn.—Early voting continues until this afternoon for the Carroll County Republican Primary.
The May 1 Republican Primary will be the first-ever for Carroll County. Early voting at the Carroll County Election Commission on High Street in Huntingdon continues through 4 p.m. today.
Voters who miss early voting will vote at their regular precincts on Tuesday, May 1, between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m.
There is only one contested race at the May Primary and that is for County Mayor.
Joseph Butler and Tim Pratt ae seeking the Republican nomination for County Mayor. One of those men will appear on the August ballot against current long-time County Mayor Kenny McBride and T. Richard Goodwin. Both McBride and Goodwin are running as Independents.
