Cast-N-Blast Raises $11,000 For Carl Perkins Center

 
Paris, Tenn.—The Cast-N-Blast 2018 held on Saturday, April 21st at Paris Landing Marina was a huge success, with some $11,000 raised for the Henry County Carl Perkins Center, according to Director Carly Wheat.
 
She said the Bass Tournament had 37 boats registered, 12 kids that participated in the kids fishing rodeo and seven teams registered for the Turkey Blast. “The weather was great and the entertainment was awesome,” she said.
 
The winners of the Bass Tournament are:
1st place- $1250- Total weight of 25.75 Brian Wilson and Michael Smith
2nd place- $600- Total weight of 22.95 Andy Tyler and Buddy Wallace
3rd place- $400- Total Weight of 21.43 Jack Hehn and Jason Almond
4th place- $300- Total Weight of 20.37 Mike Arnold and Daniel Sepeck
5th Place-$200- Total Weight of 19.65 Marion Yahn and Griff Estes
6th place- $150- Total Weight of 17.57 Cliff Curd and Ed Gettys
7th place- $100- Total Weight of 16.85 Michael Wasden and Bill Wasden
Big Fish- $250- Total weight of 8.02 Brian Wilson and Michael Smith.
 
Turkey Blast weigh in:
Highest Scoring Bird by an Adult- total score of 65.875 goes to William Flanagan
Highest Team Score- total score of 114 goes to Monte Belew and Kurtis Bramlett.
