Paris, Tenn.—Good news, catfish lovers!
The World’s Biggest Fish Fry will be serving fresh catfish when the Fish Tent opens Wednesday evening, April 25.
Drew Williams of US Foods said, “This will be a first. We’ve never used fresh catfish before. And the fish we’ll be serving Wednesday night will be pond-raised, never frozen.”
Williams, whose company has been supplying the fish for the Fish Tent for years, said, “We’re excited about it. It’s great quality and it tastes good.”
The Fish Tent menu, as always is: Fresh fried catfish, hush puppies, French fries, slaw, white beans and drink. All you can eat for $12 (children 6-12 for $8) and as always, carry-outs are available.
The Fish Tent’s hours are 5-9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, April 25 and 26; and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday, April 27-28.
