Dickson Co. Sheriff’s Office Plea: Don’t Organize Own Searches For Joe Clyde Daniels

Dickson, Tenn.—The Dickson County Sheriff’s Office has issued a plea for the public not to organize searches on their own for Joe Clyde Daniels. Joe Clyde’s father has confessed beating the five-year-old Autistic boy to death and the mother also is being held in connection with the crime. The father, Joseph Clyde, has not told investigators where he hid the body.

The Dickson County Sheriff’s Office issued a plea on its Facebook page in mid-afternoon Wednesday: “It has come to our attention that there are groups on Facebook trying to organize a search for Joe Clyde Daniels, DO NOT DO THIS! Please be patient. If you know someone planning to participate in a search share this post with them. Sheriff Bledsoe will announce a date and time for volunteers for the next major search party when needed. At this time we are conducting targeted searches based on facts from the case to preserve any evidence that may or may not be found. We are still searching and using K9 partners. Again, please be patient. We all want to find Joe Clyde.”
