Paris, Tenn.–The Northwest Tennessee Economic Development Council announced that U.S. Department of Agriculture commodities will be distributed to eligible area residents next week Tuesday and Wednesday, April 24 and April 25..
The food will be distributed at Central School located at 55 Jones Bend Road Ext. in Paris. Distribution will be between the hours of 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Seniors age 60 and older will come Tuesday, April 24. If your last name begins with M-Z
you will, also, come on Tuesday, April 24. If your last name begins with A-L you will
come on Wednesday, April 25.
Applicants should have a Purple Commodity Card. If you do not have a Purple card,
please sign up no later than Thursday, April 19. Call 642 3132 for more info.
PLEASE DO NOT LINE UP CARS BEFORE 9 AM.
Do not line up cars on the highway. If the line is backed up to the
highway, you will have to come back when the line shortens. You will
be asked to leave and come back. This is for the safety of all involved.
