Golden Pond, KY – The Friends of Land Between the Lakes have transformed the gift shop inside the Homeplace 1850 Working Farm and Museum welcome center into a general store themed area, with items representative of the period and visitor favorites.
Friends Executive Director John Rufli said “We have merchandise ranging from Shari Lewis’ Lambchop hand puppets to cedar garden markers, along with heritage seeds and innovative food items. We invite our regular visitors to come see what’s new and encourage first-time visitors to stop by the general store before or after their trip out to the farm.”
The Homeplace 1850 Working Farm and Museum is open inside Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area from 10 am to 5 pm daily. Admission is $5 for ages 13 and up, $3 for ages 5 – 12 and free for under 4.
