Paris, Tenn.—Two women were arrested on drug charges after they were found passed out in the parking lot of a Paris business.
Kelly Leann Dunlap, age 27, of Reynoldsburg Rd., and Brandi Brewer, age 26, of Big Sandy, were arrested after Paris Police Sgt. Eric Long responded to a call of a possible drug deal taking place in the car, which was parked in the El Vaquero restaurant parking lot on Spruce Street.
As Long walked toward the car, Dunlap woke up and tried to hide a bag between the front seat and the console, according to Long. During the course of the encounter, she reportedly confessed that she was trying to hide the drugs.
Upon consent to search, officers found four to five small baggies containing meth and $185 in cash, along with two syringes and Alprazolam tablets.
Dunlap was charged with possession with intent to deliver meth. Brewer was charged with two counts of simple possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
