Paris, Tenn.—Paulette Moody shows jewelry on sale at today’s Athena Delphian Bazaar and Bake Sale. A total of $10,772 was raised today that will benefit scholarship recipients and local organizations. The Athena Delphian group holds the event every other year and crowds are always large. This year was no exception. With a wide selection of quality items—from antiques to jewelry to clothing and home décor—the Enoch Building at the Henry Co. Fairgrounds was full when the doors opened at 8 a.m. but pretty well empty when the event shut down around 1:30 p.m. The proceeds go toward scholarships in the community. What little that was left was picked up by the Knights of Columbus of Paris to be used in their fundraising events. (Shannon McFarlin photo).
