Paris, Tenn.—The Paris-Henry County Jaycees are looking for teams for the newest event at the upcoming World’s Biggest Fish Fry: bed races.
The bed races will be held in downtown Paris on Saturday, April 21.
Two teams already have signed up—the Henry County Sheriff’s Office and the Jaycees, according to committee co-chair Jordan Holland.
Teams can be made up of businesses, civic organizations, churches, city and county officials, etc.
Holland said the Jaycees tried to conduct the event at last year’s Fish Fry, but it was rained out.
Registration is at 11 a.m., with the race set for noon. Holland said teams will meet in the parking lot at the First United Methodist Church.
Entry fee is $75 per team. Call Holland at 441 6616 or Patrick Cooper at 363 9721.
