Paris, Tenn.—The PLUS Endowment program has been awarded a $1,800 community grant from Walmart, which Plus Endowment officials said would go toward teacher-guided projects. PLUS Endowment was created in 1999 and continues funding educational opportunities over and above those provided by regular school budgets. Its first year, the program awarded six grants to local educators for a total of $2,500. In 2017, a total of $65,759 was awarded to educators for their unique projects.
