Trenton, Tenn.—Two people were arrested on drug and weapons charges after the 28th Drug Task Force seized over ¼ pound of high grade marijuana and steroids from them. The Task Force executed a search warrant with assistance from the Gibson County Sheriff’s Office.
According to the Task Force, the marijuana was packaged for resale. In addition to the drugs, electronic scales, 3 loaded handguns and proceeds of the sale of drugs were confiscated.
Two persons are in the custody of Sheriff Paul Thomas awaiting formal charges of possession of a schedule 6 controlled substance with intent to sell, possession of a schedule 3 controlled substance, possession of a weapon during the commission of a dangerous felony, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
According to Task Force officials, they do not release the names of the people they arrest nor do they report the location of the arrest.
