Paris, Tenn.—The next Preserve Paris Clean-Up event will be a bit different. As City officials said, “We are going to mix it up a little this time with a Scavenger Hunt!”
City Officials are asking those interested in helping clean up the city to meet at the Civic Center on Volunteer Drive on April 14 from 9 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. (April 21 in case of rain).
Instead of working just in one neighborhood this time, groups will be assigned to pick up litter around the community.
Cash prizes will be awarded to the Scavenger Hunters with the most points.
Points will be earned by finding specific items, the number of bags of trash collected as well as hidden vouchers that count as points.
“We invite the community to join the fun while sprucing up our community on April 14,” City Economic Director Jennifer Morris said.
