Martin, Tenn.—Martin Police have arrested a 20-year-old man from Martin in connection with a break-in early this morning at the Huddle House.
Arrested was Rocha A. Kimmel, who is in custody at the Weakley Co. Detention Center on the following charges: burglary, theft of property, and vandalism.
According to Assistant Chief Phillip Fuqua, a burglary was reported this morning at 6:43 a.m. An exterior window had been broken out and someone had entered the business. Fuqua said an additional window was found to be busted out of the office area and the office door standing open.
Some $537 was reported stolen.
Police determined a large rock had been used to bust the windows. Video footage was recovered and officers began the investigation, Fuqua said.
“Late this afternoon, a suspect was developed and they did locate and interview him,” Fuqua said. “During the interview, he did admit to breaking in to the business and stealing the money.”
