Orlando, Fla.—For Henry County High School Band Members, Disney World indeed was the happiest place on earth. While in Orlando, the band participated in a session at one of the Disney recording studios. At the recording sessions, students learn how to get the most out of rehearsals and discover how to execute pitch-perfect performances and hone their sight-reading skills. The finale is a recording Disney music, accompanied by footage from a classic Disney animated film. The band members, teachers and chaperones got to see all the sights at Disney World, but agreed the recording was the neatest thing they have ever done, according to Kendra McCuiston, one of the band parents.
