Quota Plans “Ladies Night Out” With Boxed Dinner, Movie

 
 
Paris, Tenn.—The Paris Quota Club is planning a Ladies Night Out to view the movie, “I Can Only Imagine” at the Parisian Theater April 3.
 
The evening is open to the public and includes a boxed dinner of sandwich, chips, homemade dessert and drink. Cost of ticket is $15 and is available from any Quotarian and are available at the W.G. Rhea Library and the Henry County Elections Office.
 
At its meeting last week, the 2018-2019 slate of officers was announced: President Beth Watkins; President-Elect Pat Bailey; Vice-President Kayla Nation; Recording Secretary Martha McFadden; Corresponding Secretary Susan Pemberton; and Treasurer Brenda Hosford. Directors will be Donna Winders, Stanley Leslie, Geraldine Sykes, DeLaina Green, and Denise Evans.
 
Watkins announced the parliamentarian will be Mary Kathryn Moore and the Assistant Treasurer will be Beverly Wood.  These officers will be installed at the April 25th meeting.
 
If anyone needs pecan pieces, Quota still has two cases available.  You may contact Janice Teas at 644-1981 or any Quotarian.
 
Scholarship applications are available at Henry County High School, Moody Realty and the Quota website:  quotaparistn.org.  Applications are due by April 9th.
 
The club will send one child to the Diabetic Camp in June.
 
Members brought candy-filled Easter Eggs to the meeting.  These will be sent to Western Mental Health Institute in time for Easter.
 
Qualifications for Quotarian of the Year were distributed.  Members will vote at the March 28th meeting and the recipient will be announced at the April 25th meeting.
 
The club purchased a clothes dryer for Set Free Ministries and they now have an individual who would like to attend a Counseling Class.  The club voted to sponsor the individual.
