House Fire In Hazel; Red Cross Called To Scene

Hazel, Ky.—Fire crews with the Calloway Co. Fire & Rescue are still at the scene of a house fire in Hazel as of 8:30 a.m. today and the Red Cross has been called to help the family.
 
Hwy. 641 N was shut down for a time this morning, but the dispatcher at the Calloway Co. Sheriff’s Office said the highway is now back open.
 
The fire is at the intersection of EW Miller Rd. and Hwy. 641 N, between the Hazel Convenience Mart and the State Line Ranch and Home.
 
The dispatcher said he did not know if the house “is a total loss or if crews managed to save some of it”.
