Hickman, Ky.—The Dorena-Hickman Ferry is closed for repairs.
According to the Dorena-Hickman Ferry’s Facebook page, the ferry will be closed until further notice due to mechanical issues.
The ferry provides a crucial link between Kentucky and Missouri for daily commuters as well as providing access to recreational areas in both states. The ferry is the only direct route between the two states.
The Dorena-Hickman Ferry had been closed for several days recently due to high water and was finally able to reopen March 20.
