McKenzie, Tenn.—A ham, beans and cornbread fundraiser to benefit McKenzie/Carroll County United Neighbors will be held from 5-7:30 p.m. March 22 at the McKenzie Farmers Market at 2451 Cedar St.
Cost is $6 and it’s eat in or take out. Tickets are available at the McKenzie Banner office or United Neighbors.
United Neighbors is a non-profit agency providing food, clothing, and assistance to pay utilities for the less fortunate or those down on their luck. Funding was severely cut from one of its funding agencyies. The hard winter has adversely affected many in the community.
