Spring Forward: Daylight Savings Time Begins Sunday

Daylight Savings Time begins at 2 a.m. Sunday, March 11. In order to keep from showing up to church at the wrong time, however, everyone is reminded to move your clocks forward one hour before going to bed Saturday night.

Yes, unfortunately, that means we will have one hour less of sleep. Fortunately, it also means we will have more hours of daylight to enjoy.

Beginning on the second Sunday in March and ending the first Sunday in November, the U.S. first observed the time change in 1918.
