Paris, Tenn.—The Paris Special Schools District (PSSD) board of education will hold a school safety workshop at 6:30 p.m. Monday.
PSSD Director of Schools Dr. Norma Gerrell said the purpose is to report on what the school district already is doing and look ahead to what it still needs to do in the area of school safety.
All of the district’s SROs and principals will be in attendance and give reports, as well as the district’s IT Manager Charles Archer and Maintenance Director Jason Coffield.
Gerrell and the district’s Safety Coordinator Sherry Wagner also will report on what they gleaned from a recent conference they attended.
The workshop will be held at the PSSD Central Office.
