Waverly, Tenn.—Emergency personnel are still searching this morning for a Nashville Firefighter who is reported missing after his vehicle plunged into the Tennessee River in Humphreys County.
First responders are searching for Firefighter Jesse Reed, who disappeared Monday when his vehicle disappeared in the river near Mason’s Boat Dock near Waverly.
Reed is 32 and joined the department in October 2013.
The Nashville Fire Department posted a new message this morning on its Facebook page: “Please keep the family of firefighter Jesse Reed in your thoughts and prayers. He is missing right now in Humphreys County. Search efforts for him are underway.”
