Paris Landing Water Levels Rising; Park Roads Closed

Buchanan, Tenn.—As of today, the water level at Paris Landing State Park is 363.74 and roads leading to the boat ramp and the old fishing pier are now closed.

Paris Landing officials said this afternoon the back gate was still open for the boat ramp, but that may change, depending on water elevations.

“TVA’s predicted data shows that it could crest sometime tomorrow and hopefully start to recede soon after that with a midnight elevation on March 7 at 364.02,” officials said. “Please be aware of the dangers associated with rising and receding flood waters. River currents and debris can be very dangerous so please use all caution if you decide to get out.”
