Laura McLean Is Jeopardy Winner

Paris, Tenn.—Paris Native Laura McLean is the current Jeopardy Winner! Even with especially difficult answers—and questions—McLean made it look easy today.
McLean is the daughter of Chip and Gina McLean of Paris and was a 2005 graduate of Henry County High School. To no one’s surprise, she was a Salutatorian of the Class and holds two degrees from Vanderbilt University.
She currently lives in Nashville and is a data analyst at HCA.
McLean said the family quizzed her prior to her appearance on the show, which was taped in December. Neither McLean nor her family are allowed to tell how long her run on Jeopardy will last.
Chip McLean said the family had a lot of trivia books and quizzed her on questions to get her ready for the show. “We all went to the Vanderbilt-University of Tennessee game in Knoxville and we quizzed her all the way there and all the way back,” he said.
