Paris, Tenn.–Recently, jury duty summons packets were mailed to 250 potential candidates for the March 2018 term of jury duty in Henry County. Within the mail-out packets was a postcard that is to be signed and returned to the sheriff’s department. There is a date listed in error on the postcard, according to County Circuit Court Clerk Mike Wilson.
For clarification, those who received the jury duty packet, the correct date on the postcard should have read, “Monday, March 5, 2018,” at 8:15 a.m. as the day and time to report for the first day of jury duty, as all the other documents within the packet stated.
If anyone should have questions, they may call the Circuit Court Clerk’s office at (731) 642-0461. Wilson said, “We apologize for the confusion this may have caused.”
