Paris, Tenn.— With one more day to go, the Henry County Helping Hand Radio Auction total is now $295,646. Today, $5,064 was raised by Lakeway Village.
With Wednesday as the last day, all of the auctioneers take turns. The last day is always “Open to Anyone Day”. Anyone who wants to donate is asked to call Sharon Kummerow at 593-0077.
Helping Hand raises money each year for a long list of non-profit and service organizations in the county. Last year, over $350,000 was raised and it is organized totally by volunteers.
Helping Hand is held at the Enoch Building at the fairgrounds and is broadcast live over our radio stations. The daily auctions begin at 12:30 p.m. and are aired on WTPR 710 AM.
